New Parents/Guardians to Kids Skate and Can Skate
Welcome to SNOWFLAKE SKATING CLUB. We encourage you to take an active role in your child's enjoyment of skating.
First when kids start skating there will be stressful times for the kids as well as parents.
The programs are designed so that each child will be part of a group. With that group there will be Program Assistants (PA's). These are all skaters that have been with the Club for several years and have taken a mandatory PA course.
With each skating Level, there are specific goals required to advance to the next level. The program is designed so that the PA's work with their groups on these different goals. The Coach will spend time with each group to provide further instruction as well as an on-going evaluation of the skaters. Once a skater has achieved the particular level's skating goals, they will be advanced to the next level. The coach is totally responsible for the advancement of skaters within the program.
Parents are encourage to ask questions or bring up concerns to their program's respective Chair or any member of the Executive. These names can be found on the Executive page on our Home page.
